Killarney is one of Ireland's most popular tourist destinations and Begley's Tours will show you Killarney's amazing lakes from a vantage point only possible thanks to local knowledge.
Depending on your group size, take a bus or car tour from your accommodation at a prearranged time. Heading east, we will visit Annascaul, the birthplace of Tom Crean, the Antarctic explorer. Crean was a member of three expeditions during a period known as the Heroic Age of Antarctic Exploration from 1901-1914.
On leaving Annascaul, we go across the country to Inch Beach - the location for the 1969 film Ryan's Daughter. From there, we will go on to Beaufort, the Gap of Dunloe, a narrow pass between the McGillycuddy Reeks and Purple Mountain.
Find 6.5 miles of breathtaking views of Purple Mountain and its five lakes. Pass across the Old Arch Bridge, the "Wishing Bridge," where when a wish is made, it will always come true.
Is it possible to book jaunting cars in Killarney when we visit the Gap of Dunloe?
Yes. Guests will have the option to enjoy a horse and carriage tour in both the Gap of Dunloe and Killarney if they wish to do so. Get in touch with us to share your travel plans with us.
Do you offer flexible transportation?
Guests are collected from their accommodation at a time that suits them. Customers on our Killarney tour can choose to complete a Killarney to Dingle round trip or choose to stay in Killarney if they have booked accommodation in Killarney.
